it's all in my head

but isn't everything?

atlantacraftparty:

When Etsy announced the launch of Etsy Craft Party I was super excited.  I’d been talking to Maggie of Young Blood Gallery & Boutique about hosting a craft night.  I had so many ideas but getting it together seemed like a daunting task.  It’s like the amazing folks at Etsy read my mind and partnered with Meetup to make this simple.
So here’s the scoop…
On June 18th, 7-10pm, Young Blood Gallery will be hosting the first Atlanta Etsy Craft Party.  If you are interested please RSVP by clicking the I’m Interested  button at our Meetup page.  The top 50 parties with the most RSVPs will get a craft party kit with lots of goodies, so ATL better represent!  Atlanta is filled with talented artists and crafters so this should be easy.
There will be projects to craft along with (fabric banners, recycled paper cards, and more) or bring your own project to work on. Materials & instructions will be supplied, but if you want your project to have a specific look make sure to bring your own scrap fabric & paper. If you have any craft supplies just taking up space at home, bring them. Whatever is not used can be swapped with other crafters.A party isn’t quite as fun if there aren’t yummy things to nom on so consider bringing a dish to share. As always Young Blood will have dollar wine & beer. If you’ve never been to Young Blood, you’ve been missing out.  YB is the foremost independent showcase in Atlanta for emerging artists and Do-It-Yourself crafters. It also happens to be owned by two amazing ladies!  If you can’t make it to the craft party be sure to check it out next time you’re in town.
This event is being organized by Krista, Shannon, & Beth.  Please direct all questions here.

please reblog if you live in atlanta.  thanks!!  View high resolution
