i was admitted to the hospital sunday morning for more tests and just got home. the baby is good, my blood tests are good, and even though there is protein in my urine and my blood pressure is up, the doc wants the baby “to cook a little longer” (ob humor??). the plan is to induce on thursday or monday unless the baby decides to make an appearance on its own. i am now on bed rest...

this bed rest thing isn’t as easy as i thought it was going to be. i am super independent and want to do everything myself. my nesting instincts are in full force and telling derek where to put things while i sit in a chair is just not working for me. i have no desire to leave the house but it would be nice to be able to get a drink on my own without being told to get back in bed.
