‘The Florist’ (by MORPHOLOGIC)
‘The Florist’ Once again we return to observe a cryptic red decorator crab (Leptopsia setirostris); this time living upon, and decorated with, zoanthid polyps (Zoanthus sociatus), close cousins to both sea anemones and corals. Zoanthus in Latin literally means ‘animal flower’. The species name sociatus refers to the fact they these flower animals live...

i think one of the main reasons why my coworkers do not like me is because i indirectly call out their ignorance and rather than feeling uncomfortable it just makes them annoyed with me.
case in point:
coworker 1: have y’all seen those amazing racist videos. they are so funny.
me: (after hearing an explanation) OMG! that is not funny at all.
coworker 2: actually they are pretty...
excerpts from my neighborhood message board:
karl: Anyone know how to get a cat out of a tree? This one has a red collar. It's been up there for 3 days now and is not looking too healthy, very weak. I'm concerned that even IF I can reach it, the cat will freak out and eat my hand or worse, it will fall and hurt itself. Suggestions? Help? If I don''t get it down today, I don't think it's going to survive much longer. Thanks.
shayna: Uh oh. The rain today can't have helped. You're sure he isn't catching birds or squirrels up in the tree? Most cats that climb up into trees come down on their own when they are hungry.
karl: The only thing that cat is catching is pneumonia. He doesn't have the strength to come down at this point, he's almost comatose.
holly: OMG! Did you call the fire dept?
karl: Good News!! The neighbor next door got up the ladder and brought that darn cat down. Resting comfortably now. A hot toddy with whisky in one paw, the TV remote in the other. Is this YOUR cat? Tabby coloring, orange collar. Answers to the name Hey Cat! FYI, the fire department won't come out for cats in trees anymore.
curt: This kind of thing could be avoided if people kept their cats on a leash....
rhymeswithjulie-deactivated2012 asked: hahaha I take it you did not have the chance to enjoy Japan's lovely beaches. I am not sure which makes them harder, the awful rocky sand, the frighteningly cold water, or the gobs of trash. Remember, Japan is POLLUTED. And cold. We are right next to North Korea and Siberia! Southern Japan has pretty beaches, but it is also a 700 plane ticket to get there! I like my beaches devoid of dead...

“I Need You” is the name of the series of films that I shot for my thesis. The films in the series are What I’ve Been Told, The Move, I’ve Got You and You’ve Got Me, Aspersion, and Goodnight, Thank You.
With 38 hours left on my Kickstarter, I wanted to update everyone with what was going on with it, and my thesis. This video is pretty long, because I wanted to...
