reality check
i seriously thought i was going into pre-term labor last night. i had the worst cramps and lower back ache, just like i was about to get my period. i really hadn’t even thought about delivering prior to 37 weeks. i’ve been trying to just be in the now and not worry myself with what-ifs. i was trying not to freak derek out so i quietly researched pre-term labor and convinced myself...

oh what a relief…. i passed my second glucose test so i don’t have gestational diabetes. not quite sure how i could be 18 points over on the first test and normal the second one when i fasted for both. i didn’t even bother to ask the nurse because i was so happy with the results.

just this week i will have spent 9.5 hours of my life in doctor’s offices all related to my pregnancy.
mon - obstetrician: 1hr
tues - chiropractor: 30mins
thurs - obstetrician: 3hrs
fri - psychiatrist: 2hrs
sat - breastfeeding class: 3hrs
i didn’t even know there was a breastfeeding class. not quite sure why it needs to be 3 hours long either.
