i always get excited when i see i have a message in my inbox on facebook. i guess it’s because i don’t use facebook much so i think maybe it’s someone that would be cool to hear from. then i get totally let down when it’s a message from some dude i barely know who sent all his friends a lame mass email. obviously i’m doing it wrong.

it’s been hot and raining and humid in georgia for the past several weeks. it’s sucked. i’ve said several times recently that i wish it were spring already. i don’t want fall or winter. i just want sunny, 72 degree, breezy spring.

tumblr has made me more obsessive
i am constantly checking tumblr, my email, my favorite websites, and facebook for posts and updates. i don’t even like facebook. i actually get bummed when there aren’t any new emails in my inbox even when i’m not expecting anything in particular.
i think i am in need of a weekend getaway without technology.
