atl represent!
the current issue of readymade magazine has an article about atlanta’s poncey-highland; my home! it also mentions two of my favorite places, videodrome & young blood gallery, owned by my close friends who work super hard and totally deserve some free national publicity! check it out.
3 work days until my 11 day vacation which includes getting hitched, a party with my closest friends and family (aka the wedding) and mexico! i have a feeling that these will be the 3 longest work days of my life.

when derek and i first moved in together, our first disagreement was about having a tv in the bedroom. he didn’t want one and i did. i’m not sure how or why i let him have his way but it was obvious it wasn’t going to work when i started falling asleep on the couch every night. as a compromise i put this on my nightstand.

i have off work today - yay! all i want to do is be lazy but i can’t. i have to finish sewing the curtains i started 6 weeks ago, make pillow covers with the awesome ikea fabric i bought, and make a cupcake tower. hopefull mine will look better than this..
